Testimonial "We at BDO Stoy Hayward LLP have worked with The American Hour and the creators, Assunta Mondello and Helen Elliott, for a number of years. The team and I have been hugely impressed with their work within the UK based American expatriate community and have found their enthusiasm and professionalism to be a shining example for us all. Assunta and Helen certainly fly the flag".Andrew Bailey, Parter-Expatriate Tax, BDO Stoy Hayward LLP

Testimonial "The American Hour has proven to be a valuable resource for networking, not only among Americans but also for expats of other nationalities who have an interest in, or connection to, the USA. We at the Kensington Chelsea Women's Club, whose membership is made up of a small majority of Americans as well as 45 other nationalities, have found this website a good way of keeping up with important events affecting our community." Cindy Maceda, Kensington & Chelsea Womens Club (KCWC)

Testimonial "The American Hour, through its electronic newsletter, its networking receptions, and its sister publications Expatriate Adviser and American in Britain, have proven to be extremely useful resources for US and other expatriates living in the UK, but also for those who are in any way involved in the expatriate relocation profession. In addition to information on the practicalities of relocation, they help US expats to enjoy the experience of life abroad by promoting events and services that keep them connected. They offer insights into cultural and recreational opportunitites in the UK; practical matters such as tax, insurance, and housing; and essential matters such as education, health care and spiritual life. Through articles and the vast network that Assunta Mondello and Helen Elliott have developed with social organizations and expatriate service providers, as well as workshops and seminars, and tips on events of special interest to US expats, The American Hour is an essential part of the 'expat survival took kit'. As an American who has spent more than half my life living abroad (beginning as a toddler), I have experience of the challenges faced by families - a personal perspective as the child, adolescent, single, spouse, expat working professional. As a professional, having worked both in the diplomatic world, and in international education with responsibility for recruiting, hiring, and looknig after the overall well-being expatriates wokers and their families from abroad, I am pleased to count Assunta and Helen amongst my friends. " Mary Langford, Deputy Executive Director, ECIS (European Council of International Schools)
